Reiki is a beautiful form of energy healing technique. To best describe it I will define the
exact root of the word. Rei- which means Universal or Higher
Power and Ki -meaning “Life Force Energy”; it directly translates
to Universal Life Force Energy, and is also commonly defined as the
purest unconditional love. One of the main principles of Reiki is that
it can do no harm! Only good things will come from getting a
energy healing session. A Certified Practitioner will be a
channel for this Universal Life Force Energy and the energy
will know and be guided to exactly to each individuals needs.

Is Reiki Safe?

It is a natural, safe, and relaxing form of healing. When you are
feeling low vibrational or life force energy, it is the perfect time
for a session to help bring you back into balance and in
alignment with your self. When you have a chakra “blocked” it can
cause dis-ease (absence of ease). Using Reiki, the Universal Energy
will channel through the practitioner hands by placing the hands on
or hovering above the clients Chakras and they will find any
blockages in Chakras or else where in your body. During the
session the practitioner may use crystals to amplify the Chakras
and also help them easily see where any imbalances are. There are
seven Chakras locating from the base of the spine to the top of the
head. Reiki treats the mind, body and soul and many clients
experience mental clarity, deep inner peace, physical healing,
emotional and mental healing, spiritual healing, personal revelations
to answers they have been seeking, and many miraculous shifts.
When the practitioner is sending energy to any imbalances it is
normal to experience hot or cold in your body because the energy
is flowing since the blockage is now unblocked. How cool is that! It
is safe for all ages and is very beneficial for pregnancy as well.

 

 

What to expect after my session?

After session, many people feel in complete
alignment and have an overall sense of peacefulness and
completely relaxed and filled with a renewed sense of hope and
purpose. Reiki helps people realize that there was simply an
imbalance and there is nothing wrong with them and that they are
not broken – You are not broken! You simply had symptoms of a
blockage – energy wants to be flowing and balanced and when the
blockages occur it causes dis-ease. Many clients are shocked to
realize that the Reiki practitioner can tell what the root of each
individuals imbalance is without the client having to tell them.

 

How does Reiki help me?

The practitioner can send Reiki to the past, present and future which
can assist in deep healing – specifically when healing the past.
When the session is over, it leaves a glow on peoples faces. It is

1. Is Reiki a religion or could it be against my religion?

No, Reiki is not a religion! Reiki will help bring you closer into
what you believe in personally and does not go against any
religion. Reiki is universal and is found in any and all cultures and beliefs!

2. Is Reiki a massage?

No. Reiki is using a gentle “laying on hands technique” and
the practitioner will softly lays hands on you. However, the
are some licensed massage therapist who are also certified in
Reiki and can incorporate it into their massages!

 

 

3. Is Reiki safe on pregnancy or children?

Yes! It is safe for all ages, genders, and universally for
anyone! Additionally, it can be beneficial for nausea and
anxiousness in pregnancy. Everyone can benefit from Reiki.

4. What can I expect to feel during a session?

It is normal to feel like you are floating because you are in a deep state of relaxation. It is also normal to feel hot and cold sensations while you are having a session done. Some emotions may come up and that is welcomed and normal! There are special symbols that practitioners use and this can help work through any emotions and feelings. You are always supported!

5. What do I do after a Reiki session?

Drink lots of water! Doing energy work can make you super
thirsty and tired so listen to your body and rest if it needs
that. I also recommend journaling to write down any personal
revelations you experienced while it is still fresh.
