Arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can walk you through your first float. There is a short video that will also take you step by step though the float process. Or click the link below to watch the introductory video so you are ready to go when you arrive.
Before you float please use the rest room and then use the shower provided before your float and rinse with soap to remove the dirt and oils from your skin.
Use the ear plugs in your ears and the petroleum jelly to cover any scratches. Step into the pod when you are ready to float and close the pod.
Choose different color options and whether you want music. We recommend no sound or light for optimal results. Find a comfortable position with your body and relax and let your body float.
Carefully exit the pod, be cautious as it may be slippery. You will re-enter the shower and use the shampoo provided to cleanse and rinse the salt water from your body and hair.
After your float you can sit back, relax and reflect on your experience in our spa lounge. Bask in your post-float glow with complimentary tea and water. Stay as long as you like.
The lights will come back on in the pod and the gentle filtration system will begin the process of purifying the water for the next client.
We kindly request that you DO NOT schedule your floats during this time. Floating is not allowed and we will gladly reschedule you for another day that does not coincide with this time of the month.
You most certainly can. We suggest you consult with your doctor before floating during your first trimester, however, your second and third trimesters we recommend floating often. Floating will take the pressure off of the low back and help ease the aches and pains associated with the muscle and joint pain you experience when you are expecting.
NO. The natural buoyancy of the water will keep you floating the entire time and should you fall asleep you will be woken up by the filtration system at the end of your treatment.
YES. You will be in a completely private room and we ask that you float without any clothing or swimsuits at all. The dyes, cleansers and softeners used on clothing will actually create more strain on our filtration system then just floating without clothing.
