Within an hour of a fire or live fire training, Huntley firefighters complete a gross decontamination at the scene, return to the firehouse for a shower, hit the sauna, then take another shower. As infrared heat penetrates more deeply than warmed air, users develop a more vigorous sweat at a lower temperature than they would in traditional saunas.
